Jagalchi Market

Hello, if you walk along the coast, led by the sea breeze of Busan Port, the second largest city in Korea, you will find Jagalchi Market, a huge fish market created after the Korean War.

Jagalchi Market is a fish market where you can fully enjoy seafood such as fresh raw fish and seafood, which boasts Korea’s best fishery volume. The gravel of Jagalchi Market means gravel, and the lively market is similar to the sound of gravel rolling, and it is said that it is like a fish market that handles fish such as tuna, hairtail, halibut, and saury, so it was called Jagalchi Market.

Busan Jagalchi ladies’ “Oiso, Boiso, Saiso!” Be sure to come and enjoy fresh and delicious seafood without being intimidated by the heat of Jagalchi Market, which is filled with such shouts.

Jagalchi Market was redecorated on December 1, 2006, in Jagalchi Market Street, which is about 700m from Nampo-dong Dried Fish Street to Chungmu-dong Market, always lively with the fish market ladies shouting “Oiso~” to customers who came to buy fresh fish and side dishes.

Jagalchi Market, newly created with a seagull wing roof, has been reborn as a space where you can feel the scenery of Busan, a port city surrounded by clear skies, blue seas, and blue mountains, as well as fresh fish and seafood sales.

Unlike the nearby Shindonga Fisheries Market, Jagalchi Market costs 4,000 won per person to buy fish and seafood from the fish tank on the first floor and cook them on the second floor full of raw fish restaurants.

And you can order fresh assorted sashimi directly from the menu table on the second floor without purchasing sashimi from the first floor tank, but assorted sashimi varies from 40,000 won to 100,000 won for two people.

On the second floor of Jagalchi Market, there is a dried fish shop where you can buy dried squid, octopus, and kelp from Korea, and on the third floor, there is Jagalchi Hinoki Enzyme Health Land.

3,500 in the total area in the fifth and sixth floors of seafood buffet oaje. This restaurant has a banquet room for various events and weddings, so you can enjoy fresh seafood while looking at the sea in Busan.

On the 7th floor, there is a guest house and a coffee shop with a panoramic view of the sea off Busan, and on the rooftop, there is Busan Tower and Sky Park Observatory with a view of the blue sea of Busan.

On the rooftop, there is an observation deck and a rest area on the sea side.
