Gyeongju Namsan Mountain has so many Buddhist relics that it is called an outdoor museum that there are many Buddhist relics such as stone Buddha, rock-carved Buddha, stone pagoda, stone lantern, and lotus pedestal. In particular, if you hike for about an hour at the Tongiljeon Hall of Dongnamsan Mountain in Gyeongju, you will find Chilbulam Hermitage, which houses the most beautiful rock-carved Buddha in Namsan Mountain in Gyeongju. Chilbulam Rock-carved Stone Buddha, the only Buddhist relic in Namsan Mountain in Gyeongju designated as National Treasure No. 312, is called Chilbulam Rock, combining Samjonbul carved with embossing on a large rock 5m high and 8m wide.

It is estimated that it was built in the 8th century of the Unified Silla Period with a voluminous body shape, as the Suin of the main Buddha of Maaeseokbulgun takes the same anti-machokjiin as National Treasure No. 24 Seokguram (751).

And if you go up about 10 minutes above the rock from Chilbulam Hermitage, you will find Shinseonam Rock-carved Bodhisattva Banga, Treasure No. 199 carved on a cliff cliff with a good view and carved on a cloud. Using the rock protruding to the east as a halo, the rock was thinly dug out and a 1.4m-high Rock-carved Bodhisattva statue estimated to be from the late 8th century was carved there.

How to go：It takes about 30 minutes from Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal to Unificationjeon Station by using seat bus No. 11 (Bulguk Sasaeng). From Tongiljeon Hall to Chilbulam Hermitage, it takes about an hour and a half.
