Busosanseong Fortress

Hello, this is a Baekje-era fortress located in the northern part of Buyeo and built on the low Busosan Mountain (106 meters) along the Baekma River where the Baekma River tourist boat travels. Busosanseong Fortress was the capital of Baekje for 123 years until Baekje’s collapse in 660 after the 26th King of Baekje moved the capital from Ungjin (now Gongju) to Sabi (now Buyeo) in 538.

The fortress is neatly maintained for a walk, and there are cultural properties such as Nakhwaam (Baekhwajeong), Samchungsa Temple, Banwolru, Gunchangji, Sajaru, Goransa Temple, and Yeongilru.

And it is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as one of the Baekje Historic Areas designated in 2015.
