Naju Film Theme Park

It is a large video theme park with a site area of 140,000㎡ at the foot of a mountain where the Yeongsangang River flows in Singok-ri, Gongsan-myeon, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do. It is a theme park designed as an open set for filming dramas and movies set in the Three Kingdoms Period of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla.

MBC’s Jumong, which aired in May 2006, became very popular in Korea, with its airing being extended, and Song Il-guk, who played Jumong, the myth of the hero who founded Goguryeo, as a star.

The drama Jumong Open Set is preserved in Naju Video Theme Park, and Taewangsashingi starring Bae Yong-joon is also filmed here, drawing attention as a theme park showing Goguryeo, an ancient country on the Korean Peninsula that flourishes across northern Korea and China. In addition, the growth and love of King Muhul, the god of Goguryeo, who is called the “God of War” who becomes the grandson of Jumong, and the “Land of the Wind,” which depicts the last war, were filmed here.

The theme park includes Dongbu Women’s, Jolbon Buyeoseong Fortress, Ironware Workshop, Sindan, Moja Castle Gate, Market Street with Tiled Roofs, Taeja Palace, Pond Palace, Video Experience Center, and Takbon Experience Center.
