Busan to add 2 more mobile medical buses.... .5 buses

The number of medical buses in Busan that provide healthcare services to the vulnerable has increased to five.

The city of Busan held a launching ceremony for two medical buses for visiting medical services at 3 p.m. on the 21st in the parking lot of Busan City Hall and announced that they will enter full-scale operation.

Visiting healthcare service is a project in which medical buses equipped with specialized examination equipment such as mobile ultrasound and X-ray visit vulnerable people and provide customized medical services such as medical examinations, consultations, and education, and Busan City introduced three medical buses last year and promoted them in earnest.

Busan National University Hospital, Haeundae Citizens Hospital, Maryknoll Hospital, and Busan St. Mary's Hospital are entrusted to operate the medical buses.

From April to August, three medical buses visited 74 organizations, including welfare centers, to provide medical services to 2,955 people, including the elderly, and the satisfaction rate of the checkup service reached 97.7%.
