Posters for Busan International Film Festival to be unveiled in October

The official poster of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which will be held in October 2022, has been released.

The poster released this time shows an audience looking at the sea under a clear sky. This is a face-to-face meeting between the audience and the Busan International Film Festival, which is called the sea of movies, and expressed excitement about holding normalization for the first time in three years since the pandemic.

In addition, the Busan International Film Festival explained that the person in the poster looking at the logo of the Busan Film Festival symbolizes all filmmakers, including the audience, guests and industrialists who visited the festival.

Choi Sun-dae, the art director of the Busan International Film Festival, produced posters for the second consecutive year following last year.

The Busan International Film Festival said, "As the official poster conveys, we expect audiences and filmmakers to gather together to become a more vibrant and rich film festival this year," adding, "We will thoroughly comply with quarantine guidelines to make it a festival that everyone can enjoy safely."

The Busan International Film Festival also unveiled posters for the 17th Asian Content & Film Market (ACFM).

Meanwhile, this year's film festival will be held for 10 days from October 5th to 14th at the Busan Film Hall, and will resume the "Chanel × BIFF Asia Film Academy" that has not been conducted due to the COVID-19 incident, as well as support businesses such as the Asian Film Fund, Platform Busan, Forum Beef, and Chanel.
